Creating music is a beautiful and evolving process. My piano pieces evolve through many stages, slowly transforming until each song is ready to be released, just like the life cycle of a butterfly, until it finally emerges from the chrysalis. Composing a song allows me freedom and gives me wings to fly, to escape and explore. I love painting a picture with sound, using the piano to express emotions and create musical landscapes. The music on this album was inspired by the ability of music to transport us to another place and time. My hope is that each song allows you to escape, to ascend to an aerial dreamland before gently bringing you back home.
